Hi Everyone! My name is Paolo Grandi and I am an official tourist guide for the Emilia-Romagna region. Bologna is my hometown where I still live and where I graduated from the Alma Mater University in History of Modern Art with a thesis on Raphael and the music in the Ecstasy of St. Cecilia, a masterpiece at the Pinacoteca Nazionale di Bologna. For me being a tourist guide first of all means having a passion for the places and monuments we visit as well as competence and a customised approach towards my clients in order to awaken and stir the joy of knowledge. Thanks to the managerial expertise I have acquired in the tourism industry, I am able to coordinate cultural projects in the area, not only for individuals, but also for businesses, such as corporate team-building experiences (bike tours, city walks, hikes, urban events ...) to accompany managers and others through diverse and stimulating teamwork activities. I like to work on theme-based topics with my clients. I have written a brochure of short tours following the main trends of the cities of Bologna, Ferrara, Ravenna ...: art galleries, music/theatres, Jewish routes, thermal waters and spas, wine & food, universities, venues/LGBT itineraries, relaxation and sports.
