At the University of Bologna Paolo Cova graduated in History of Medieval Art (2004), he specialized in History of Art (2008), he earned a PhD in History of Art (2012) and since 2005 he is a visiting lecturer at the Department of Arts. Since 2006 he works at the Musei Civici d’Arte Antica of Bologna, where he is involved in educational activities and research in art history. In 2010 he developed the website «http://www.romanico-emiliaromagna.com». In 2013 he spent a period of research in Los Angeles at the J. Paul Getty Museum and at the UCLA. He teaches History of Architecture in American university centre CIEE of Ferrara. In 2014 he collaborated with Ballandi Arts and Rai Storia on the TV program “Signorie. Potere e bellezza”. Over the years he won many scholarships, he participated in the organization of several art exhibitions, in conferences and publications, also with international value. He hold guided tours, in Italian and English, on all centuries monuments and artworks in various Italian cities.
